When it comes to philosophy, we always find it incomprehensible and
metaphysical. Though Oriental philosophy and
Western philosophy bred in different soils
at different times, they share similar wisdom
in terms of the meaning of life and death. Verbal
and text-based are their main communication
approaches. Since visual communication as a
third approach can help audiences understand
complex information more comprehensibly and
intelligibly, this project is
visualising my personal
reflections in terms of both Oriental and Western
philosophy. Hopefully it can enhance the
explicit understanding of profoundly sophisticated
philosophy under the help
of visual communication.
