With the development and application of metaverse and virtual reality technologies, fast fashion waste has seen the light of day. However, complex, highly detailed and expensive virtual garments require more work and technical input from designers and modellers, which is an invisible waste.

Around this concept, I designed The Fashion’s New Clothes, a future fast fashion brand. In this speculative future, people will buy and wear virtual clothes in the real world. What new fashion waste issues will emerge?
