| This project aims to highlight the richness and allure of organic vegetables and organic farms through an interactive educational game. It begins with scenes set in a dark urban environment, prompting players to question whether it is truly wise to make daily purchasing decisions based solely on price. Through farming experiences and encounters with nature, players witness the protagonist's life transform into a vibrant tapestry of color. Through this journey, players are encouraged to reconsider sustainable living and deepen their understanding of a fulfilling life enriched by food and agriculture. When this QR code on the A3 poster is scanned, it redirects to a website introducing the game. The dark monochrome depiction of the protagonist and the emerging red hues in the background symbolize the lights of supermarkets that stock inexpensive vegetables within the game, strongly questioning the audience whether they are truly making pure choices. Two versions of character design are created, featuring one protagonist living in a monochrome urban world and another discovering the allure of agriculture and living in a colorful world. The website introducing the game mirrors the game's transition from monochrome to colorful scenes, providing an interactive experience that simulates a scene from the game itself. In the actual farming experience scene, players can learn about soil preparation, planting seeds, watering, and harvesting under the guidance of a farmer they meet at the community garden. The design is crafted to ensure that while keeping players engaged, it also conveys the labor-intensive nature of farming. After finishing the farm work and looking up at the sky to appreciate its beauty, one might feel an irreplaceable sense of fulfillment. After experiencing the cycle of nature through the story, what might the audience feel when visiting the supermarket again? |
