In today's rapidly developing society, the swift pace of life often leads individuals to overly focus on their own viewpoints. This self-centered thinking makes many reluctant to consider or respect others' perspectives. As personal goals and the pursuit of immediate gratification dominate, empathy and understanding toward others are marginalized. This situation results in deteriorating social relationships and a widespread lack of communication and mutual understanding within communities.

The "Peeking" project was conceived as an innovative response to these challenges. Its primary goal is to encourage people to shift their perspectives and enhance empathy through unique visual interactions. Utilizing paintings in red and blue, the project guides viewers to experience the artwork through specially designed color filters. As participants view the images through different colored lenses, their perceptions change, echoing the cognitive process of trying to understand another person's point of view. This method aims not only to alter visual perception but also to evoke emotional responses and deep reflections.

More than just providing a visual feast, the "Peeking" project initiates a deep exploration of empathy. It challenges viewers to reassess their own perceptions and uses straightforward yet effective visual changes as a catalyst for a multi-layered journey of self-discovery and social understanding. This journey encourages participants to confront their preconceptions and embrace a broader, more inclusive perspective.

Overall, the "Peeking" project is a crucial intervention in the arts, leveraging visual innovation to bridge the gap between individuals and cultures. It demonstrates the transformative power of art in enriching interpersonal relationships and counters the isolation and division that are prevalent in modern life. This project is not merely an artistic venture; it is a call to slow down, reflect, and genuinely see the world through others' eyes, thus enriching our collective human experience.
