| Critical Design Project – Break them apart! |
| Readability: Hidden in Plain Sight is a critical exploration of accessibility in visual communication, rooted in a personal belief that design should be a tool for inclusion. Focusing on the print medium, the project examines how typography, colour, and imagery shape readability for diverse audiences. It challenges designers to look beyond aesthetics and reflect on how their choices can either exclude or empower. By fostering observation, empathy, and a user-centred mindset, the work encourages a new way of thinking about accessibility. It is not just a checklist to follow. Instead, accessibility is a creative and ethical responsibility. It is essential to building more thoughtful, equitable, and inclusive visual experiences. |
