| Beyond Earth explores how space exploration continues to shape the way we design, see, and imagine the world and the universe beyond it. Our collective fascination with space has long influenced visual language – through films, art, typography, and digital culture. This project is a personal journey to examine that influence through practice-led experimentation. I investigate how visuals – textures, motion, typography, and materiality – can reflect and reinterpret cosmic ideas. Each experiment serves to question and play with how we represent the unknown. Along the way, I reflect on the ethics and climate impact of space travel, and how designers can approach this topic with sensitivity. At its core, this project reflects my curiosity and intention to blend design, narrative, and speculation into meaningful visual storytelling – inviting audiences to imagine new visual frontiers while staying grounded in the critical realities of our time. |
