| Every minute, lives are lost in conflicts around the world. In this era of information overload, the media reports constantly on these evolving crises. War has become a persistent topic in global discourse, yet it remains deeply sensitive and personal. This project aims to raise awareness and foster meaningful dialogue about the human side of war. By tracing history through the lens of childhood experiences, it encourages viewers to consider how the echoes of past conflicts resonate today. Silence does not shield us from war’s consequences. Only through reflection, empathy, and open conversation can we begin to imagine and build a more peaceful future. To engage with this theme thoughtfully, I chose to explore it through visual storytelling. This project uses symbolic representations of military objects to examine the realities of war within a design context. Through illustration, animation, and video editing, the work reflects on the human cost of war – particularly through the stories of young people affected by eight major conflicts. |
