Information Design
Information design has an important part within the curriculum. Designers must be adept at considering and visually explaining complex information. Giving visual form to data makes it accessible, usable, and enjoyable, while also reducing uncertainty. Students explore both qualitative and quantitative data, considering design applications like wayfinding, maps, instructions, and utility bills. Understanding data visualisation the designer will help the audience to make better decisions, understand relationships and pattern, ask better questions, and create meaningful stories.
